FIFTY 50  GRINDPLATES

Fifty / 50 Grindplates are amongst the most popular by far for aggressive skaters. They are popular because they are thin, durable, and allow for smoother grinds, while protective the frame.

Common differences between Plastic and Aluminum on grindplates is that Plastic will allow you to grind curbs smoother and easier. Aluminum on curbs does not slide as easy. For railings the aluminum is very fast while plastic is a tad slower. The Plastic will wear down a little to create a groove and make grinding easier. The downside is that it will not protect the frame as much as aluminum. Many want the versatility of plastic and the downside of wearing out the frame happens only sometimes. Often the skates wear out before the frames do, so the durability of the plate may not be an issue. Either choice is very popular.

They will come unattached to the skate. The axles that hold wheels together can be easily removed with the provided allen key and installed. It is basically 2 screws to install.

Please indicate your first and second choice in case we run out.
