ORDER CANCELLATION

Information on cancellations.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
"Once payment has been received your order cannot be cancelled"
WHY


Customers order items, and we incur costs to enter, pack, and charge credit card /process money order. As a result, we would like our customers to be certain of their purchase prior to submitting payment information on the order.

 

EXCLUSIONS


If we are out what you ordered, you can cancel your order. We will notify you via email if we are out of stock. At that point, you have the option to choose another model or cancel.


If you ordered by phone and did not offer an email address, then we assume that you could not have access to this information. Your order is cancellable as long as you notify us by telephone prior to 4pm on the date of shipment. Once the skates have shipped, you are responsible as any other customer to our policies. 


If you have paid by credit card, and the item has not been charged or shipped,   we will allow you to cancel your order. However, there will be a cancellation fee of $50. Once the order has been charged and/or shipped, there are no refunds allowed. Exchanges only.

Please  email skatestop to find out order status. If you have received a tracking number then your order has been shipped (step 5) and is only eligible for an exchange. Please see Exchange  Information

MONEY ORDER


When you submit an order online to be paid by money order, your order is cancellable if we have not received your money order. Once we receive your money order, your order is not cancellable. Your order has reached step 4 above and is eligible for exchanges only.

Return Check / Money Order charge is $50.This means that if you do stop payment on your check, or the funds are not available, then you will be charged $50. This covers our cost of receiving/copying your order into our system, reserving a skate for you exclusively that prevents others from purchasing, depositing your payment, and paying return fees at our bank.


CREDIT CARD


Once credit card information is received via online order or telephone order,  your order is not cancellable. 

REFUSED ORDERS


Customers who place orders with payment information, then refuse the order when it comes to the door will be obligated to pay the total order price, and will have rescinded their right to taking possession of the product. We do allow customers to notify us via email that there order was unintentionally sent back to us. We will resend the skates for a $20 charge. In the event that the item shipped to the customer was incorrect, the order is subject to the same rules as an exchange. Please see exchange  info.

ALTERNATIVES



If you have ordered an item and have not been charged, you are eligible to:

1- Choose another skate selection. Any price differences in skate choices will be charged or credited to your card.

2- Pay the restocking fee of $50. We will give you a lifetime credit of $50 toward a future skate purchase. This credit has no expiration, and can be used anytime.

If you have been charged but not shipped,  you are eligible to:

1- Choose another skate selection, for no additional cost. You will receive store credit for the total amount of your original sale.

2- Hold a credit in our system for the amount of the charge, for no additional cost. You will receive store credit for the total amount of your original sale. This credit has no expiration, and can be used anytime.



If you have been charged and your skates have been shipped, you are eligible to:

1- Send the skates back for immediate exchange, less a $20 reshipping/restocking charge.

2- Send the skates back for future store credit in amount of your charge, less a $20 reshipping/restocking charge. This credit has no expiration, and can be used anytime.
