We know you have many questions and we hope we can answer
them now to save you time.
IThank you for your request for a catalog. We do not
currently offer a catalog at this time. We are considering offering one in the near
future. This catalog, if created would only be offered to customers that have placed
orders with us. If you would like to get on a list for a future catalog, you would need to
place an order with us. This will allow us to send a catalog only to those that we feel
will be most likely to order from it. Currently the best way to buy products from us is by
using our website athttp://www.skatestop.com Please email us with any further and
questions.
PRICE MATCHING
Thanks for your request to match prices. We do match prices
on in stock merchandise. If it is in stock, we estimate a $20 shipping charge and do not
offer any free items. We also can work with you better by telephone. If you want the
skates, call us. If you claim the item is in stock, we will need the company name, and
telephone number so that we can verify the information. If the company has a lower price
but does not have any in your size, here is the situation. Many companies sometimes put a
skate for sale dirt cheap when they have next to nothing say 1 pair left. They do this
because skaters will call. When customers call, they say oh we are sold out of your size
BUT we do have another skate etc etc... the bait and switch technique... As a result,we
cannot meet these prices. So in order for us not to evaluate what a company's reason is
for there price, we simply match prices on in stock merchandise only. Nonetheless if you
do call us on the phone and ARE in a position to order when you call, we can attempt to do
something with yourorder so that you feel you are getting a deal that is a good one.
Please call us on this, but you MUST be ready to buy when you call. If you are not ready
to buy, then we cannot talk. The reason is the deal that we offer you is a one time only
offer.

IF YOU BOUGHT SKATES TOO BIG
If the skates you buy seem
too big, you can go to Walmart and buy what is called 'Equate air pillow insoles'. They
are flat inserts that are white and have mini holes in them for breathability. The flat
cushion is about 1/4 inch thick. You can buy 2 to take up enough space. They do flatten
out so thats usually a good idea. They are only $.76 cents (last we checked) a pair. You
can find them in the foot deodorizing and medicating department next to other
pharmaceutical items. Any questions be sure to email us. Thanks again for your order.
SO YOU WANT TO BE SPONSORED?
Dear up and coming skater,
We appreciate your desire to advance yourself in
this sport. At this time however, we do not sponsor any skaters. This is because we have
too many good customers that are good customers and friends. We cannot sponsor all of them
for financial reasons. If we sponsor 10% of all the people 90% of them would feel shut
out. As a result, we do not want most of our customers to feel that way. As a result we do
not sponsor. Also the cost involved would cause us to have to raise prices in order to pay
for the program. So basically we feel that only a select few benefit, and we do not want
to do that to most of our customers. We totally understand and can appreciate your
dedication with regard to this. I do not know if what you are looking for is better deals
on products or becoming professional. If you are looking to become professional, I think
sponsorship by skateshops does not work in most cases. If you are good the best thing to
do is go to competitions. I spoke with Champion Baumstimler's mom and she told me that the
family went on vacation and there was a competition within a couple hours and she took him
to it. He got first place. Senate and everyone offered him sponsorship on the spot. If you
cannot pay to go, then the skateshop could be a way to get it paid for. Skateshops ask a
lot of you tho in order to give you that kind of a hookup. Id go to the asa website or the
niss website for competition times and locations, or start with other shops. Good luck,
and we hope that if you need skate stuff you buy from us.
