Most
Deshi run 1 size large. As a result, size down from your shoe size 1/2
- 1 size. This is especially true for the original Deshi DK1 Boot. The
Iain Mcleod runs large as well but not as large as the DK1. Size down
from your shoe size on the Mcleod 1/2 size.

K2's
normally run true to size or slightly small. Out of the box, they will
definately fit small. Due to the quality of the liner, it still does
not crunch your foot, just feels very, very snug on that does usually
break in if you go true to your shoe size. Although they
probably would break in if you went true to size, most customers
unless they are used to these skates, will feel its too risky to buy
them true to size. I recommend that you size up 1/2 -1 size and
possibly as much as 1 and 1/2 size if you are growing.

Run
very large, so size down from your shoe size at least 1/2 size. I
recommend that you size down on this skate. If you want growth
room or like to wear them loose, then buy them in the same size as
your shoe size.
Razors
run slightly small, so you definately want to size up. If you are a
say 10.5, you'd go with 11. If you are a 10 for instance, you could
get a 10 but they'll probably be little too tight so I'd go to an 11.
If you are familiar with the skates and like the snug fit then go with
true to size. I just don't recommend that because I have a large
amount of customers that exchange them for larger sizes. Also
remember, a skate with reign liners will also run smaller than a skate
with standard razor liners. As a result, make sure to size up on these
skates, even as much as a full size. If you are growing, you can
consider sizing up 1 and 1/2 size although we can't guarantee
there wont be a lot of room in the skate.

These
skates run true to size, so you can buy whatever your shoe size is. If
you want growth room then you can size up 1 full size. The skate will
stretch 1/2 size as well to accomodate any growth in the event you
want to go with your shoe size.

Roces
Street and Tattoo run true to size so you can size according to if you
want growth room or you want it to fit perfectly today.
Roces Khuti run 1 and 1/2 size small so you must size up 1 and 1/2
sizes.
Roces 5th Element run 1/2 size small

Run
true to size

Salomon ST70,
ST90,ST9 and ST Feinberg fit a tad small. I recommend that you go true
to size if you want a snug fit, or size up 1/2 size if you don't want
them snug. The liners on these skates is so good that if you are for
instance a 9-9.5 and try on an 8.5, it will be tight for about 15
minutes but will stretch within 30 minutes to fit which is what
happened for me, when I was testing a pair of ST9's.
Run true to
size
Run 1/2-1 size
small so size up. Usually most experienced skaters go with there shoe
size on these but I have to recommend that you size up 1/2 size. They
will stretch so sizing up 1 size is not necessary unless you want to
be certain they will fit.

Run 1/4 size
small so its a toss up. Size up 1/2 size if you like a more loose fit,
and go true to size if you like them snug.
The classic
throne models fit true to size so no need to size up whatsoever.
If
you want growth room..
you can size up as much as 1 size above the sizing
recommendations for your skate choice. It depends on how long you need
the skates to last, and how much big you anticipate the skaters feet
will be by then. I have seen parents buy skates 2 sizes larger,
because they don't want to buy another pair for 1-2 years for
instance. If this is the case, then I am sure they will fit then, but
in most cases, precise fit will be sacrificed today. I recommend
trying to balance the need for growth room, with the current need for
a precise fit. A wrong fit today, and the skater might lose interest
so I would not plan too far ahead.
Our motto with sizing skates is.....
Its much better for the skate to be too large then too small. In 97%
of exchanges, its because the skates are too small. So when in doubt
size up. We can always do different things to take up room in a large
skate, but we cannot make room. If you buy them and they are too large
on you, you can buy 2 sets of air pillow flat insoles with no arch at
your local store and they will take up room in the skate by raising
your entire foot that allows for your arch to make contact with the
lace area of the skate sooner, that will prevent the front to back
sliding and give you extra cushioning. A good place to get these is
Walmart if you have one near you. They are called "Equate Air
Pillow Insoles" and are only 75 cents for a pair. They also give
you greater shock absorption for the knees and body, so the actual
result could in fact be better. I would still take a precise
anatomical fit over making adjustments to take up room.
