Sunshine is proud to announce the release of the most anticipated skate for years: The NEW REMZ.

Kato Mateu the founder of the company developed the Remz freedom-of-feet concept in 1998: His revolutionary hybrid hard/soft boot technology pioneered the shoe-style skate design and the ability to move your feet up and down like in normal shoes. This allows skaters to stretch their foot and literally jump on ledges and rails. With this skate design Kato managed to create a strong following among skaters. His core riders, Chris Haffey and Carlos Pianowski, became rollerblade icons and belong to the most respected riders in the aggressive industry.

In 2001 he decided to outsource the distribution and fully focus on product design and marketing. The result of 2 years of extensive testing, research and development will be available in stores worldwide in a few days: The new "remz03one". The name signalizes that Kato is just warming up: "03" stands for the year, "one" for the first skate of the year. Watch out for new innovations and more revolutionary designs to come.

Highlight of the NEW "remz03one" is the adjustable flex system. This ingenious design incorporates a cuff with perforated V-shape, which gives riders full support in the un-cut version, but allows them to gradually adjust the amount of flex by cutting the perforated V-cut or remove the cuff completely. Other highlights are the completely re-designed liner that provides a custom fit like a broken-in baseball glove. The liner is removable yet still fully attached to the boot shell to prevent any moving or shifting. The shock absorbers are smartly integrated in the liner and high density insoles provide perfect comfort. The replaceable backslide plate is perfectly sized and positioned so you never miss and stick. The extra wide soul and heel plates are replaceable and come in a variety of colors.

The best feature of the new Remz is its amazing skating ability: There is literally no break in time required and even skaters crossing over from hard boots get used to them in a heartbeat. Skaters can do any trick and the skates feel like they are part of your foot.
