Gillan was the new boy on the block last year, and his skate was one of last years best. This year is supposed to be no different. Gillan is among skaters favorites for style and overall attitude towards the sport and the skaters in it. This skate has Kevin Gillans exterior design choices and his frame and whee`ls from Senate. That should be a plus because these Senate wheels are very durable. The great thing about this years USD's is that the holes are predrilled in the bottom for all frame systems so switching is simple. This is the only skate on the market that has the bolt on compatibility of frame companies such as 50/50, Kizer, USD, and Senate. The boot is reinforced along the bottom half to enhance durability. The new soul area has ultra durable plastic replacable "wings" that are going to be available in different materials for different types of performance.
